setting intentions for a new year: embrace the possibilities

"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." – Eleanor Roosevelt

As we step into a new year, we are gifted with a fresh slate—a chance to create, grow, and evolve. The turning of the calendar offers us the perfect moment to pause, reflect, and set intentions for the year ahead. It's not about resolutions that feel like obligations, but about the power of setting purposeful intentions that align with our values, dreams, and passions.

This year, take a moment to ask yourself: What do I truly want to experience, create, or become?

Intentions guide us toward our most authentic desires and remind us that the journey is just as important as the destination. Whether it’s nurturing relationships, embracing personal growth, or pursuing creative endeavors, start this year by setting your sights on what truly matters. The power to shape your future is in your hands.

My primary intention is to get my book out of submission (editing it now), and to have it be picked up by an amazing publisher! My second intention is to write my next WIP, and third would be to get some of my YA titles out this year. What are some of your intentions? What are some dreams that you would like to bring to fruition in 2025? Let me know in the comments. I would love to hear it and hold space for your own dreams to manifest, as well.

Here’s to a year of living intentionally, embracing change, and welcoming the unknown with open arms! I’m rooting for you.

Love, Kara
